Crossroads is a non-profit Foster Care Agency with branches in Edmonton and Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Crossroads recruits and provides quality training and support for foster families. Furthermore, Crossroads advocates for the safe and healthy development of children in care.

MEETING WITH NEW MINISTER OF CHILD AND YOUTH SERVICES

As part of our ongoing efforts to highlight the work of foster parents, Janet Ryan-Newell, Executive Director of Crossroads, met with the new Minister of Children and Youth Services, Yvonne Fritz. This meeting was significant as the Provincial Department is responsible for children in care. Janet initiated the meeting for a coalition of Foster Care Agencies, which Crossroads is a part of. The meeting was a positive start to a new relationship between agencies and the government. We look forward to future developments.
